Home burglary

Someone kicked in a woman’s front door before stealing her flat screen TV and stereo system Aug. 17.

She left town Aug. 12 to return to find her home burglarized on the 12300 block of Southeast 160th Street.

Stolen copper

About $2,000 in copper wire was stolen from a business on the 4000 block of Maple Valley Highway.

The wire was taken from four different light pole fixtures between 10 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. Aug. 18

Geo battered

Someone threw a brick through the window of a man’s Geo Storm outside the Safeway in Fairwood Aug. 14.

When the victim opened the passenger-side door, a crowbar fell onto the ground that didn’t belong to him.

Nothing was missing and the man said he couldn’t think of anyone who would have a grudge against him.
