Open House on Lake Washington Loop trail tonight at Senior Center

The project, planned for 2017, will continue the existing bicycle/pedestrian trail from north of the Cedar River Bridge on Logan Avenue North across the bridge onto Airport Way.

The City of Renton will host a Community Open House tonight for the Lake Washington Loop Trail Project to provide information about trail construction.

The project, planned for 2017, will continue the existing bicycle/pedestrian trail from north of the Cedar River Bridge on Logan Avenue North across the bridge onto Airport Way. A later stage will continue around the corner onto Rainier Avenue North as part of the next phase of Rainier construction.

At some future time the trail will be completed to the north City Limits near the north end of the Airport. The project is currently under design by OTAK, Inc. of Redmond, Washington.

The Open House is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, March 8, at the Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave. N.
