The City of Renton Emergency Management staff will meet with the public – and especially the city’s diverse communities – on April 26 to talk about making Renton disaster-resilient.
The discussion is 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the City Council chambers, seventh floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way. Pre-registration is required by April 18.
To register, call 425-430-6700 or visit rentonwa.gov. For more information e-mail Kelly Carey at kcarey@rentonwa.gov. Light food will be provided.
The city points out that to recover from a disaster the whole community must strategically engage, strengthening core elements that support a vital community.
