The right lane of northbound State Route 169 – inbound to Renton – from 140th Avenue Southeast to the Cedar River is closed due to flooding, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation.

A bridge over the river has also suffered some structural damage, according to a City of Renton spokesman familiar with the situation.

The second northbound lanes is open and the two southbound lanes are not affected.

How long the lane closure will last is unknown at this time.
