The City of Renton has canceled tonight’s showing of “The Boxtrolls” at Henry Moses Aquatic Center due to inclement weather.

The movie was scheduled to be shown on a big screen at the park, with the movie visible from the water, but this afternoon’s thunderstorms led to safety concerns that has forced the Center to re-think tonight’s event.

It is unknown at this time if the event will be rescheduled.
