Crews working to repair SR 169 near the Cedar River in Renton have good news for drivers: They will reopen the right lane of northbound SR 169 on Saturday.
Since Feb. 4, crews have been working to repair a retaining wall that was undermined by flooding in January. They’ve also repaired a section of concrete barrier that sank with the wall.
Once the new grout under the repaired barrier has cured, the road will be ready for traffic. Crews will remove the temporary barrier Saturday morning and expect to open the lane to traffic by noon.
Crews are still working to repair about 200 feet of a pedestrian trail at the base of the wall.
