After two weeks without a meeting, the Renton City Council gets back to work on Monday.

On the agenda this week are a trio of proclamations, including Farmer’s Market Week, Kirby Unti Day and National Night Out, set for Tuesday.

Unti, a longtime Renton pastor who is leaving to become a regional bishop, will also be honored at a reception during the Committee of the Whole, prior to the regular meeting.

Also on the agenda is a public hearing on Madison Annexation, an 11.4-acre area bordered to the north and west by the City of Renton.

In the unfinished business section there are the second round of 2013 neighbor grants and a cedar river trail lot line adjustment.

Finally, the first reading of the 2013 Second Quarter Budget Amendment is scheduled for Monday.

The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. It will be preceded at 5 p.m. by a reception for Kirby Unti in the Seventh Floor Conferencing Center.
