A group of Microsoft employees raised $5,000 and used the money to build 10 new computers for the Renton Skyway Boys & Girls Club.
In the spirit of giving, five of the computers were then presented to Somali Youth and Family Services, which helps low-income Somali families in the Renton area.
The group spent Nov. 9 assembling the machines, which each have a copy of Windows 7.
The Day of Caring was spearheaded by Microsoft VP Margo Day alongside several employees.
