MSNBC reports that a Renton-based adoption agency has had its license suspended by the Russian education ministry after a Tennessee woman sent her adopted Russian grandson back to his home country alone on a plane.
The World Association for Children and Parents, which is headquartered in Renton, released a statement on the situation, saying “We were alerted to this situation by our branch office in Moscow, Russia and are shocked and saddened by this turn of events.”
