The Renton, Lindbergh, Hazen and Liberty boys track and field teams all competed in the Shoreline Invitational at Shoreline Stadium Saturday.
Renton led area teams, finishing 25th. Hazen came in at 35th, Lindbergh 36th and Liberty 38th.
Junior P.J. Benedictus led the way with a sixth-place finish in long jump (20 feet, 8.25″ inches) and second in the triple jump (46′).
Indian sophomore Immanuel Carter placed 13th in the 400, with a time of 52.47 seconds. Senior Evan Curry placed 12th in the 110-meter hurdles (15.32 seconds). Curry also placed 14th in the 300 hurdles.
Renton’s 4 x 100 relay team of Mar’Que Fluker, Benedictus, Robert Reeves III and Laudon Thomas finished eighth.
Senior Joseph Watson placed 12th in the discus with a distance of 137′, four”.
Hazen senior Michael McGillivrary finished ninth in the 400, with a time of 51.47 seconds. Senior James Holland finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (14.74 seconds).
The Highlanders group of Stephen Johnson, Emoniel Isakharov, Cody Taylor and Varuna Bridgers placed 10th in the sprint medley.
Lindbergh senior Adam Freed finished 14th in the 100 (11.42). Eagle senior Frank Cange placed seventh in the 200 (22.78).
Senior Trevor Thompson finished fourth in the 3,200 with a time of 9:20.70.
Lindbergh’s group of James Cornell, Nate Reitz, Thanh Nguyen and Freed placed 11th in the distance medley.
Liberty senior Eric Bice placed ninth in the 1,600 (4:20.34). Troy Solly finished eighth in the 300-meter hurdles (40.41).
Liberty’s 4 x 400 relay of Devin Bennett, Joeseph Bergman, Solly and Bice finished ninth.
Patriot senior placed seventh in the javelin (176′, 5″). Sophomore Joshua Gordon placed seventh in high jump (six feet) and 11th in the long jump (19′, 11″).
Bennett finished 13th in the triple jump (41′, 5.5″).
