The Hazen boys tennis team got back on the winning track Wednesday with a 3-2 victory over Kentridge at Hazen High School.
The Highlanders won both of the singles matches, with Dylan Kittay winning his first singles match-up 6-4, 6-2, and second singles player Sohil Shah winning 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles play, the first team of James Chen and Marcus Lee won their first set but fell 6-4, 4-6, 6-7 (3-7). The second team of Logan Ricord and Tyler Holm lost 0-6, 3-6.
In third doubles, the team of Alex Hunyh and Brandon Chea pulled out a 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 win to give the Highlanders their second win of the season.
Hazen is now 2-2 on the year and is scheduled to travel to Mount Rainier on Friday.
