Leslie Marie Holmes-Chissus

Leslie Marie Holmes-Chissus was born on August 22, 1952 and left her family to be in heaven on October 5, 2010. She was born in San Diego, CA where she lived for seven years. She moved to Seattle with her mother Dolores Holmes and sister Lori Ann Holmes. She attended John Muir Elementary School and Mt. Virgin School and then graduated from Franklin High School in 1970. She was a devoted Wife and loving Mother and Grandmother. Leslie enjoyed cooking and was happiest when she had company for dinner. She loved the Seahawks, lighthouses, Orca whales and her kitty Bella. She was pre-deceased by her father John P. Holmes, sister Lori Anne Homes-Searcy, all of her grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother Dolores Ashbaugh, loving husband Thomas P. Chissus and much loved daughter Alison E Chissus, son-in-law Gabriel Nunez, Jr., beautiful adoring grandaughter Vanessa, sister Victoria Weik and uncle Michael DeSantis along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 13055 SE 192nd St., Renton, WA at 11 AM on Friday, October 15 with a reception immediately following at the church hall.
