Rosemary (Helsper) Gensberg

Rosemary Gensberg was born near Lefor, ND on March 13, 1924, to Fred and Rachel Helsper. She died in Issaquah, WA on May 3, 2012. Rosemary graduated from Halliday High School in 1942 and attended the State Teachers College in Dickinson, ND. She was a teacher in rural schools until she married Gene Gensberg in 1945. They lived in Dickinson, ND until moving to Renton, WA in 1969. Rosemary is survived by her two children, Scott Gensberg (Debra) of Renton and Mary Burns of Issaquah; grandchildren Cody and Ryan Gensberg and Tara Burns. She has one surviving sister, Carol Schmelling, Beach, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years; her sister Shirley Neurohr; and her brothers Bill and Jack Helspar.Rosemary enjoyed her life giving to others, welcoming visitors for coffee and socializing.
