Sam Turner

The fifth child of Bill Joe and Hattie Turner, Sam was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana. A graduate of East Carroll Parrish High School, it was there he met his wife of 57 years, Naomi Morehouse. Together, they traveled the world while Sam served in the U.S. Army.

After 22 years of service and receiving multiple commendations, awards and medals, Sam was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army. After his life in the military, Sam began a long and establish career in law enforcement at The Boeing Company.

Sam is survived by his two daughters – Anita Phillips (Michael) and Audrey Rodriguez (Mario), five grandchildren – William Joseph Phillips, Jonathan Charles Phillips, Samuel Jeffrey Phillips, Fortuné Turner Rodriguez and Naomi Elise Rodriguez, two great, grandchildren – Desmond Kanai Phillips and Tatum Jolie Phillips and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
