Richard Savage

Richard was born in Hibbing, MN November 12, 1922 and died peacefully February 27, 2011 after a 4 year battle with prostate cancer. Dick grew up in Oglesby, Illinois where he played football and a lot of pranks. He joined the Navy and served on the USS Bunker Hill during WWII. Retiring from Boeing in the ‘80’s he spent most of his time fishing and dancing and will long be remembered for his love of both. He is survived by his son and daughter and 5 grandchildren. Donations may be made in his name to Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA. A memorial service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, April 1, 2011 at 12:30. There will also be a tribute dance at the Renton VFW on April 1, 2011 starting at 7:00 pm.
