William Grover Johnston

William “Bill” Grover Johnston died October 26, 2008 at his home in Clinton, NC, with his wife, Tammie, by his side.Bill was born September 2, 1964 in Evanston, WY, and grew up in Wyoming, Colorado and Renton, WA where he attended Hazen High School. He served an enlistment in the US Navy, graduated the U of WY with an MS in Physical and Health Education, and taught PE to grades K-8 on the Navaho Reservation, at Shiprock, NM.While in the Navy, Bill met and later married Tammie Michelle Faircloth of Charleston, SC. Bill is survived by his wife; his father, George Johnston; his grand-mother, Evelyn Elders; half brothers, Anthony Johnston, Bradley Greenlee, and Brian Greenlee; half sisters, Tracy Siababa and Lisa Kaylor.He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna May Trout; his grandparents, Grover and Vesta Lane Johnston; grandfather, William H. Trout; stepmother, Emily Siababa Johnston.There will be a celebration of his life in Renton at a date to be determined. Condolences may be sent to the family at 13558 139th Pl SE in Renton.
