Akbar Sadrudin Karmali
Akbar Sadrudin Karmali of Renton passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland. He was 40.Akbar was born October 21, 1969 in Kisumu, Kenya to Sadrudin and Amina Karmali. At the age of five he and his family moved to Canada. He was raised in British Columbia and in Redmond, WA where he graduated from Lake Washington High School in 1987. On April 5, 2007 Akbar married Michelle Moline in Bellevue. He and Michelle lived in Renton where they cherished their time together. Akbar was attending Bellevue Community College (now Bellevue College) to obtain his Associates of Arts Degree and was mere credits away when he passed. He loved the academic world and was interested in the Natural Sciences.An outdoor enthusiast Akbar enjoyed hiking, camping and in his younger years, white water rafting. A lover of animals, children and his family, Akbar is deeply missed.Survivors include his loving bride, Michelle; parents, Sadru and Amina; siblings, Ashraf, Rahim, and Sulaiman; and a host of extended family members and friends.Donations in Akbar’s name can be made to The Nature Conservancy at http://www.nature.org/
