Gordon (Red) Gullingsrud was born on April 25, 1933 in Edinburg, North Dakota and passed away November 28, 2016. He was 83 years old.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginny, and daughters Jill Lepper and Heidi (Greg) Allen, as well as four grandchildren: Cole and Jamie Lepper and Lexi and Kelli Allen. He is also survived by his brother, Elroy, and sister, Merril Gullingsrud. He was predeceased by his brother, Ordean, and sister, Carrie Russell.

Gordon attended school in Renton and graduated from Renton High School in 1951. While attending Eastern Washington College, he was drafted and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following that, he worked for the Boeing Company for 38 years.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, followed by a private celebration of life in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the Renton Historical Society.
