Jayme Shaw had two RBI for the Liberty Fastptich team Thursday on the way to a 3-2 win over Mercer Island in a make-up game rescheduled from earlier in the week.

Mercer Island struck first, plating a run in the top of the first inning and then adding a second in the fifth. Bit the Patriots never backed down, pushing across three runs in the bottom of the sixth and then hanging on the for the W.

Sydney Hopper picked up the win, tossing 10 strikeouts and just two walks.

Liberty is now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the KingCo conference.
