Get your rubber ducks ready because Renton River Days is right around the corner.
The parade that kicks off the weekend is 10 a.m. on July 22. The parade will make its way down South Third Street, from Shattuck Avenue to Liberty Park. Kent Phillips of STAR 101.5 FM will be this year’s parade annoucer.

Get ready to see thousands of yellow rubber ducks quack their way through the Cedar River starting 4:30 p.m. on July 23. You can purchase tickets at the Renton Rotary booth in Liberty Park from July 21 to 23, along the parade route on South Third Street on July 22, at the Renton Rotary booth at the Renton Farmers Market at the Piazza, or at the following downtown stores —Cugini Florists, St. Charles Place Antiques, Garland Jewelers and The Renton Printery.

The 19th annual Cedar River Quilters Guild exhibition will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 22, and noon to 5 p.m. on July 23.
