County Council to hold budget hearing in Kent

The King County Council will hold its fourth public hearing on the 2011 county budget on Tuesday.

The hearing is at 6:30 p.m. in the Maleng Regional Justice Center, Jury Assembly Room 2E, 401 Fourth Ave. N., Kent. It’s the only hearing in South King County.

The hearings are being held as the County Council reviews the county’s budget and makes decisions about how to cut $60 million from the general fund budget. Additional hearings will be held in Seattle.
