Police were dubious about a possible suspicious kidnapping and release of a Renton girl Dec. 8.

Around 5 p.m., the 16-year-old girl told police she was walking south on Shattuck Avenue South approaching South Sixth Street in Renton when she was grabbed from behind and shoved into a blue truck.
