The Renton hotel was named Hospitality Development of the Year.
The Hyatt Regency Lake Washington recently was named Hospitality Development of the Year by the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association Washington Chapter.
The award was given out at the 2017 Night of the Stars ceremony on Nov. 3.
Dozens of Chinese citizens invested in the hotel through the EB-5 program, which gives investors a green card.
A spa that offers massages, facials, hot soaks, cold plunges and even a sweat lodge: “It’s social, so bring your mom, bring your best friend,” said owner Leslie Goeres.
Originally provided for local restaurants affected by the bomb cyclone power outages, the freezers are currently being utilized by the Salvation Army.
