The Renton Indians boys basketball team hosted its second to last league game of the season Friday when the Tyee Totems came to town.
The boys won its sixth game in a row beating Tyee 82-42.
Renton hasn’t lost a game since late-December when the boys lost 87-73 to Eastside Catholic in a non-league game.
The Indians added to its win streak Saturday with a non-league win over Kings 51-46.
Renton is currently sitting in the No. 1 spot in the South Puget Sound League 2A Sound Division ahead of the No. 2 Highline Pirates.
As the regular season winds down, the boys have three more league games to go.
Renton traveled to face Eatonville Tuesday before heading to Orting Friday.
Tonight’s game against the Orting Cardinals is set to tip off at 7 p.m. in Orting.
Tuesdays game was played after the press deadline.
The Indians return home one last time to host the Highline Pirates at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30. The boys are currently undefeated at home with a 7-0 record.
Lindbergh Eagles
The Eagles are currently 6-5 in SPSL 2A Mountain Division play and 8-9 overall.
Winning its most recent game Friday against Foster, the boys ended its two game losing streak.
Lindbergh beat the Bulldogs 66-59.
Three games remain for the Eagles as it looks to finish the 2017-2018 season strong. The boys hosted its final home game of the season when Evergreen came to Renton Tuesday.
A 7 p.m. tip off today, Friday, Jan. 26 is scheduled at Washington and Lindbergh will travel to Foss Tuesday for the final game of the season.
Liberty Patriots
The boys undefeated season came to an end Jan. 12 when Bellevue beat the Patriots 67-56.
After that loss, Liberty has won two in a row — most recently beating Lake Washington Friday 65-57.
The Patriots are currently tied for the No. 1 spot in the KingCo 2A/3A with the Wolverines at 10-1 in league. Liberty and Bellevue have split the two match ups this season with Liberty winning the first and Bellevue taking the second.
Four more games remain in the regular season for Liberty including three league games and one non-league.
Prior to the press deadline, the Patriots hosted Redmond Tuesday before traveling to Juanita to face the Rebels.
The 2017-2018 regular season wraps up for the boys next week with an away game Tuesday against Sammamish and the final home game against Cedarcrest. Tip off for the final home game is set at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2.
For those continuing its season, post season play begins Feb. 8 and runs through Feb. 17. The regionals and state tournaments begin Feb. 23 and wrap up March 3, these games are played at the SunDome in Yakima.
Hazen Highlanders
The Hazen boys basketball team’s season will come to an end today following its final home game against Tahoma.
The Highlanders currently sit in last place in the North Puget Sound League 4A Cascade Division with a 1-11 league record and 3-15 overall.
The boys only league win came early December against Kentlake when Hazen won 55-43.
The most recent loss came Jan. 19 when the boys traveled to play Mount Rainier. The Rams won 60-43.
The season concluded after Tuesdays game against Kent-Meridian and today’s home game.
Renton Girls
The Indians are sitting in the No. 1 spot ahead of Eatonville in the SPSL 2A Sound Division. The girls have an undefeated 11-0 league record and are 13-2 overall.
The latest win came Jan. 19 when Renton beat Tyee 50-11.
The girls hosted No. 2 Eatonville Tuesday, after the press deadline.
Renton will host its final regular season game at 7 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 26. The final game of the 2017-2018 season is Tuesday, Jan. 30 when the girls travel to Burien to face the Highline Pirates.
Lindbergh Girls
The Eagles are currently on two game losing streak after falling to Franklin Pierce Jan. 16 and Foster Jan. 19.
The girls are 4-7 in league and 6-11 overall.
Lindbergh played Evergreen Tuesday, after the press deadline and is set to host the final two regular season games.
First up is Washington at 7 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 26 and Foss on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Tip off for the final game is also scheduled for 7 p.m.
Liberty Girls
The Patriots are sitting in the No. 4 spot in the KingCo 2A/3A with a 6-5 league record and 9-8 overall.
The girls are on a two game winning streak with the second coming Friday against Lake Washington. Liberty won 61-42.
On Tuesday, after the press deadline, the girls hosted its final home game of the regular season when Redmond came to town.
The Patriots are set to travel for the remaining two games — a 6:30 p.m. tip off today, Friday, Jan. 26 at Juanita and a 5:40 p.m. game Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Sammamish.

The Highlanders are sitting in the middle of the pack at No. 4 in the NPSL 4A Cascade Division. The girls are 7-5 in league play and 11-7 overall.
The girls have won four in a row, with the latest Jan. 19 when Hazen beat Mount Rainier 40-29.
Hazen hosted Kent-Meridian Tuesday, after the press deadline, for its final home game of the regular season.
The girls will travel to Maple Valley today, Friday, Jan. 26 for a 7 p.m. tip off against the Bears.
Tahoma is currently in the No. 3 spot with a tied league record with the Highlanders. During the first match up in mid-December, Hazen lost by one to Tahoma, 42-41.
For those continuing its season, the 4A districts tournament will be held beginning Feb. 6 and running through Feb. 17 at area sites.
The 4A regionals and state tournament begins Feb. 23 and wraps up March 3 at the Tacoma Dome.
