The following information was compiled from Renton Police Department incident reports.

An employee of a supplement store contacted police officers Jan. 1 to report someone had robbed the store.

She said a woman had entered the store and loitered around. The employee said she was concerned the woman was attempting to steal items.

The suspect selected a bag and placed several items in it and attempted to leave. The employee went outside to confront her.

“You can give me my stuff back and get out of (here),” the employee said, grabbing the bag.

The suspect yelled, “F@#$ you,” and punched the employee in the stomach and grabbed a few items from the bag. The suspect left in a car that was driven by a man. The employee was reportedly six months pregnant.

The suspect stole items valued around $68.29.

Officers were able to identify the vehicle and are attempting to find the owner.

There is no further suspect information on this case.

STOLEN PURSE: A woman contacted police officers to report her purse was stolen Jan. 1 when she was in a parking lot on the 1300 block of Union Avenue Northeast.

According to the police report, the woman said she parked her car nearby and was walking through the parking lot when she saw two men yelling at another man. The suspects were demanding the man’s belongings, when the woman yelled at them.

The suspects then walked toward her. One man forcibly pulled her purse from her hands. The two men then left the scene.

She said her license, $37 in cash, her phone and wallet were stolen.

There is no suspect information at this time.

STOLEN IPHONE 8: Police officers were contacted Jan. 2 to reports of someone who stole an iPhone.

According to the police report, a woman entered the T-Mobile store around 1:25 p.m. and walked around. When she was unattended, she cut a security wire that was contacted to an iPhone 8 — estimated to value around $800 — and left the store. She got into a silver 2000 Volkswagon Golf car that was driven by a man.

The woman was described to be around 25 to 36 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, around 160 pounds, with medium length brown hair.

Upon reviewing the case, officers found the car was listed as a felony vehicle that was used in an armed robbery on Dec. 26, 2017 in Lynnwood.

There is no further suspect information at this time.

MISSING TOOLS: A man contacted police Jan. 2 to report someone had stolen tools from his residence.

He said a suspect had stolen several items from his tool shed. The shed was locked with a combination lock but it was no longer there.

The man also said this was the second time the same items were stolen from the shed. According to the police report, only high value items were stolen.

It is estimated the man lost items worth around $5,500.

There is no further suspect information at this time.

GUNSHOTS OUTSIDE: A man called police officers on Jan. 1 to report he heard three gunshots outside his residence, located on the 4200 block of Southeast Third Place.

He said he saw a silver sedan leaving westbound on Southeast Third Place, but did not see the shots being fired from the car. He turned in three 0.45 shell casings his son picked up off the road after the incident.

A woman also called officers the same night to report she found shell casings on Southeast Third Place. They were identical to the one the man’s son found.
