Leonard L. Johnson, 82 of Renton, Washington passed away Friday evening, the 19th of January, 2018 of complications suffered from a stroke on New Year’s Day. He was born in Bellingham, Washington on May 1, 1935 to Leif and Lillian (Peterson) Johnson. He grew up in Bellingham and after high school he married his sweetheart Shirley in 1955.

Leonard is preceded in death by his ex-wife and forever friend Shirley, his sister Lillian, brother Lyman and best friend Ed Hecock. He is survived by his children Cindy, Len and his wife Sherry, grandchildren Natalie and her wife Jackie, Lindsey and her husband Ben, 4 great-grandchildren, his brother Larry and wife Sandy, his brother-in-law John Morgan and many nieces, nephews and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, March 11th at The Party Place, 15005 Main St E, Sumner, WA, 98390, adjacent to Farrelli’s Pizza. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation (206) 320-7188.
