Renton Regional Fire Authority firefighters battled a heavy fire at a house that had a possible marijuana grow operation inside.
Crews responded to the fire around 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20 on the 11600 block of Southeast Petrovitsky Road.
After starting with an offensive attack, crews moved to a defensive attack after the fire moved to the attic and the situation was deemed hazardous.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the fire.
No one was injured during the incident.
The fire was possibly incidental due to a hot plate that was likely left on, according to RRFA Public Information Officer Roy Gonzales.
The incident is still being investigated.
