Renton Regional Fire Authority firefighters responded to a house fire in Kent that displaced two people March 5.
A single-story house located on the 11000 block of Southeast 204th Street was on fire with smoke coming from three sides of the building around 9:15 a.m.
No one was in the house during the fire. One occupant was sent to a hospital for an undisclosed issue, according to a press release.
RRFA and Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority took on a defensive approach to the fire and fought it from outside due to the condition of the building. It took approximately one hour to extinguish the fire.
Investigators have yet to release the cause of the fire.
