UPDATE: A man has been arrested in the murder investigation of victim, who Renton police have now identified as Jason Hobbs Junior.
The suspect’s identity is being withheld pending arraignment. Additional suspects might also be identified as the investigation is ongoing.
In a previous press release, the police said there is reason to believe this was not a random incident, and that the suspect(s) knew the victim.

According to Renton Police, suspects remain unidentified following a shooting Friday, Nov. 30 at a Renton area apartment.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
Initial reports were that at least two men were involved in the homicide and they left the scene in a vehicle, according to the release.
At around 6:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 900 block of Aberdeen Avenue Northeast.
Officers found the victim there, a 21-year-old Renton man, who was reportedly beaten and shot.
According to a release, fire department and medics attempted to resuscitate the victim.
Renton Fire Local 864 tweeted about the incident on Friday, prompting Renton residents to reply asking what happened.

Police released a press release Monday, Dec. 3 and said more information may be released as the investigation continues.
