November 27, 1922 – December 2, 2018

Ethel was born on November 27, 1922 in Chelan, Washington to Tom and Elizabeth Flack.

She moved to Renton in 1940 where she graduated from Renton High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life and took great pride in her lovely home and incredible pies. She surrounded herself with her favorite color of blue. Even her eyes turned from hazel/green to blue in her later years. Her favorite past times were reading and playing cards with friends and relatives. Most of all, she loved being with her family and especially enjoyed the visits from her nieces and nephews (Ken and Shirley Buchanan, Louise Turner, Marilyn Conley, Chuck Redford, Donnie Redford, Karen Noland, Faye and Gilbert La France, and Sharon Manning).

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Green of Renton, WA and Kevin Green of Snohomish, WA.; four grandchildren, (Jeff Green of Kirkland, WA; Todd Green of Issaquah, WA; Troy Green of Australia, and Amy Green of Snohomish, WA); eight greatchildren; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Green of Renton, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Berle Green.

A private “Celebration of Life” will be held on December 29, 2018.

We will all miss her infectious laugh, twinkling “blue” eyes, and warm smile. She was a treasure to us all and will be long remembered in our hearts.
