Deward Delano Eades, born September 2, 1933 in Athens, Kentucky to Thomas and Mattie Eades, he died peacefully in his sleep on January 25, 2019 in Kent, WA.
The youngest of seven, he was sent to the Seattle area to live with his older sister Minnie upon his mom’s death in 1945. 1952 Graduate of Renton High School, he served in the Army from 1953-1955. Married Leah Potter in 1956 at her parent’s home in Manila, Utah. Long-time resident of the Renton Highlands area, he was known to many for his business doing drywall and texturing throughout the Puget Sound area. He was baptized into the LDS church in January, 2017 by his son Alan.
Survived by three sons: Alan (Kathy); Mike (Patty); and Kevin (Norma); six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Buried next to his beloved wife of 60 years in Manila, Utah on February 2, 2019.
