Police took the win at the second annual First Responder Bowl, the face-off between Renton Regional Fire Authority and Renton Police Department.
The game ended 12-8. Renton fire came in at the last quarter with two pushes into the end zone, but it wasn’t enough to keep their winning streak going.
The event, held on Saturday, June 8 at Renton Memorial Stadium, had a lot of build up from both organizations social media. Renton fire coach went so far to show his moves in a video.
Captain/Coach Greg has a message for @RentonpdWA. And last checked Greg we found a few PD cars over @Toppot in the @LandinginRenton. Must be carb loading🤷🏻♂️ pic.twitter.com/jRFppwhD1p

Last year, Renton fire beat police 31-19, with proceeds going to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
