The Office of the Secretary of State has certified the ballots and shows clear winners in many of Renton’s races.
Armondo Pavone is the mayor-elect. Renton School District’s bond was approved after reaching the validation mark in the second week of counting, gaining more approval in the following counts.
Here’s the final results from Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Mayoral Race
Marcie Maxwell: 46.65 percent, 9,616 votes.
Armondo Pavone: 52.95 percent, 10,915 votes.
Council Pos. 3 Race
Valerie O’Halloran: 50.94 percent, 9,605 votes.
James Alberson: 48.72 percent, 9,187 votes.
Council Pos. 4 Race
Ryan McIrvin: 69.31 percent, 12,787 votes.
Maria Spasikova: 30.35 percent, 5,599 votes.
Council Pos. 5 Race
Ed Prince: 98.29 percent, 14,685 votes.
Council Pos. 7 Race
Kim-Khanh Van: 65.54 percent, 12,237 votes.
Thomas Trautmann: 34.21 percent, 6,387 votes.
Renton School Board Director District 1
Alisa Louie: 65.05 percent, 15,236 votes.
Joe Todd: 34.63 percent, 8,111 votes.
Renton School Board Director District 3
Stefanie McIrvin: 69.2 percent, 16,057 votes.
Kristen Deskin: 30.43 percent, 7,060 votes.
Renton School Board Director District 4
Suzette Espinoza-Cruz: 44.81 percent, 10,361 votes.
Gloria Hodge: 54.85 percent, 12,683 votes.
