There are still tickets available for the opening night today (Thursday) of the Seattle International Film Festival in Renton.

A ticket is $25, which includes the screening of “Touchy Feely” at the 540-seat IKEA Performing Arts Center and the gala party that follows at the Renton Pavilion Event Center across the street at the Piazza.

“Touchy Feely,” the story of a massage therapist who discovers she doesn’t like touching people, starts at 7 p.m. at the IPAC, 400 S. Second St., in downtown Renton.

It’s anticipated the gala will begin at about 9 p.m., following a guestion-and-answer period at the IPAC with the film’s director, Lynn Shelton, and cast members.

The IPAC box office is open Thursday afternoon for ticket sales and so that filmgoers can pick up their tickets at will call. Tickets are also available online.

Rain is in the forecast today. Volunteers will stand by the street corners with umbrellas to help escort people into the party.

Nineteen films are screening during the seven-day run of the festival in Renton.
