A shooting early Sunday morning left one dead and two injured in Renton.

Witnesses drove the three victims to Valley Medical Center, where a 25 year old Kent man was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two other men, 15 year old and a 24 year old Puyallup resident, were had non-life threatening injuries.

Renton officers were called around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30, for a call of shots fired to the 500 block of South Grady Way at a large shopping center parking lot.

The first officer to arrive on the scene reported that about 200 cars were leaving the lot and states that they received information several people were shooting guns. The reason for the gathering is unknown, according to police.

Renton Police Department states its detectives are investigating and that there’s no additional information at this time.
