The first of two open houses regarding PSE’s Energize Eastside plan is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, at Renton Technical College.

The open house runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in Building I, Robert C Roberts Campus Center Cafeteria, 3000 NE 4th St., Renton.

Discussion will focus on the four routes recommended by the Community Advisory Group for the energy purveyor’s planned new transmission lines. In Renton, all four routes utilize the “M Route” for the new lines, which runs along Monroe Avenue near the campus.

Resident feedback will help PSE finalize the routes, expected by year’s end.

A second open house is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow night at the Redmond Marriott Town Center Grand Ballroom, 7401 164th Ave. N.E., Redmond. Free parking is available at the Redmond Town Center across the street.

Materials will be the same at each open house. There will not be a formal presentation or Q&A session, so residents can arrive anytime during the open houses.

Along with the two open houses, PSE is hosting an online open house until Nov. 21 to gather additional feedback.
