Unique live theater program shares learning and life skills with local kids.

Local live theater program for kids and teens expands into more King County communities.

Providing kids a safe, unique approach to learning, Drama Kids of King County has seen such phenomenal feedback that they’re expanding into more communities around King County.

With a variety of programs that focus more on the building blocks of theater and less on the final performances, this all-fun, no-stress approach makes their programs safe and approachable for all skill levels!

The Difference is Dramatic at Drama Kids

“With over 25 years of theatre experience in performance and management, I know just how beneficial our acting classes and after-school drama activities can be for children of all ages,” says Cassie Welliver, owner/director of Drama Kids of King County “The skills they learn and the confidence they gain through our acting classes for kids creates a lifelong impact on our students and society as a whole.”

Cassie Welliver, formerly Executive Director of Carco Theater, has a Master’s degree in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University and more than 20 years of experience in theater management. When she learned about Drama Kids International’s creative and fun-focused approach to introducing kids to the world of live theatre it provided her an opportunity to unite her two passions: live theater and helping children build confidence, self-esteem and important life-long skills.

For more information on payment options and scholarship opportunities, interested parents and schools can contact Drama Kids of King County directly.

“I believe that every child should have access to the benefits of a fine arts education and the opportunity to be creative while developing new skills and tools,” Welliver says. “I am so excited to be part of making that happen in King County and helping make these programs more widely known.”
