The American Red Cross held a blood drive on April 13 at 8220 S. 126th St. in Skyway, hosted by the Renton Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
According to event organizers, many college students came in to donate blood for the first time and Snoopy T-shirts were credited as the reason why, as donors were given free shirts for having given blood.
There were 28 units of blood collected which equates to the possibility of up to 84 lives saved, according to blood collectors.
Event organizers invited potential donors to come join them every other month. The next blood drive is set for June 8.
