January 8, 1950 – September 11, 2023
Peter William Lambro passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of September 11, 2023 at the age of 73.
Pete was born on January 8, 1950 in Renton, WA where he lived all of his life. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 52 years, Susan Lambro as well as his sons Telly (Tina Lambro) and Tyler Lambro (Annemarie Lambro.) He was a proud Papou to Cooper, Cannon, Crew, Brewer and Baylor. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Tim Lambro (Lana Lambro), Tom Lambro (Debbie Lambro) and Harry Lambro (Rita Lambro) as well as his mother-in-law Nancy Krall.
To know Pete was to know his unapologetic love for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, University of Washington Huskies and his Greek heritage. He was a proud veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1970-1976. When Pete wasn’t working as a truck driver for Columbia Distributing (1980-2001) or a project manager for RC Painting (2001-2020), you could find him cruising the streets of Crescent Bar in his golf cart and Ray Bans. Crescent Bar was Pete and Sue’s second home for over 40 years bringing countless memories and special people into their lives.
Pete’s larger-than-life personality was known and loved by many throughout the different seasons of his life. He had a deep love for family and found great joy in watching his grandsons grow up. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Pete’s honor at the Fairwood Golf and Country Club (17070 140th Ave SE, Renton, WA) on Saturday, November 18th from 2pm – 5pm.
