August 8, 1930 – February 10, 2024

John I. Jury passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024. John was born on August 8, 1930, he was 93 years old. John’s first wife Shirley and second wife Sharon, both predeceased him in death. John is survived by his children Mike, Melody, John and Don. Grandchildren James, Vaughn, Nicole, Paxton, Heather, Christina, Arron and Breanne. Great Grandchildren Cait, Jared, Gavin Rylan and Liam. John worked at Local #242 for twenty plus years before moving to the City Of Renton Water Department. There he worked for over 20 years before retiring. He was a man who loved fishing, hunting, camping and traveling in his RV. He loved the outdoors immensely, like he loved his children and all the family members and friends. He was a man of great character and grit and a bit stubborn at times. He never slowed down as he was always working on a project or fixing something. He took great pride in being able to do things with his own hands. He also enjoyed watching westerns on the TV. John will be truly and dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him. A grave side service is being held on Saturday March 2, 2024, at 2pm for family and friends at Greenwood Memorial Cemetary.
