Renton schools compete at state gymastics meet

Five gymnasts from around Renton participated in the season finale event.

Gymnasts from Hazen, Liberty and Lindbergh high schools competed at the state championships Feb. 23-24 at Sammamish High School.

Aubrey Le and Monica Lai from Hazen competed, while Liberty’s Maggie and Katie Fisher made the state tournament with Maggie placing ninth after day one on the vault. Nancy Ta was the lone gymnast from Lindbergh.
