Renton Rotary accepting service grant applications

The Renton Rotary Club will be accepting applications for Community Service Grants. Any non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status; which serves the greater Renton community is eligible and can apply. The application period begins July 1, 2012 and ends on Sept. 30. All applications must be either postmarked or emailed to GrantsRR@gmail.com by no later than Sept. 30 Applications must be filled out completely and include a copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) notice.

The club’s emphasis is on community service organizations and life improvement issues such as: health and medical, employment and training, general quality of life and basic needs, and cultural endeavors.

Grants are not awarded to individuals, individual education purposes, travel, scholarships, or to international organizations.
