Victims get carjacked while trying to sell vehicle | Renton Police Blotter

Kicked: Renton police responded on Aug. 1 just before 9 a.m. to an assault report in the 400 block of South 43rd Street. According to the department, the victim stated a suspect kicked her multiple times in the incident. Police forwarded charges to prosecutors.

Armed carjacking: Renton police were dispatched on July 30 at around 9:30 p.m. to a report of an armed carjacking in the 2900 block of Northeast 12th Street. According to the department, the victims stated they attempted to sell a vehicle to an individual they met through social media. While test driving the vehicle, the suspects pointed a firearm at the victims and ordered the victims to exit the vehicle prior to driving away. The department received no report of injuries in the incident.

Physical domestic: Renton police responded on July 31 just before 9:15 a.m. to the 1000 block of Eagle Lane South after receiving reports of a physical domestic altercation. According to the department’s public information log, the victim reported a suspect struck him, kicked him, and took his cellphone. Officers arrested the suspect without incident. First responders transported the victim to the hospital.
