UPDATE: Marcel Davis, Jr. was located Wednesday at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday near the Orion Center in Seattle. He is fine, and has been reunited with his family, according to the Renton Police Department.
The Renton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Marcel Davis Jr., a 20-year-old developmentally disabled young man who was last seen on Wednesday, June 6.
Davis is described as a light-skinned black male, 6-foot-2 and weighing about 220 pounds. He has short or shaved curly light-brown hair, brown eyes, and the beginnings of a beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a cream-colored coat, running shoes, and carrying a brown backpack.
Davis has the mental capacity of approximately age 14, and has had very little contact with anyone outside of the group home in Spokane where he has lived for the past six years, according to Renton Police.
He has relatives in the Seattle area. He left the 2100 block of Southwest Sunset Boulevard in Renton on June 6 with his backpack and a change of clothes. He does not have a cell phone, cash, or other means of obtaining food and shelter and does not know how to navigate the world without assistance, according to police.
