On Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center, a presentation of the 27 flags of the United States was given during senior lunchtime. During the presentation, all of the flags were brought on stage and then put on display, while Post 9430 Commander Chad Hassebroek gave background historical information on each flag.

Hassebroek was joined by Aux 9430 President Margie Lindberg, Stuart Austin of Post 2886, Randy Brickel of Post 9430, Emma Hassebroek and Cheryl Silvestri of Aux 9430, along with Colin Silvestri and David DeLeon of Scout Troop 419, in presenting the flags to the crowd at the Cedar River Room of the “only chartered special needs Scout Troop in the state,” said Hassebroek.
