King County Fire District 20 serving the neighborhoods of Campbell Hill, Lakeridge, Bryn Mawr, Earlington and Skyway will be hosting its second Community Emergency Response Team Academy starting Friday, Nov 14.

CERT is a training program that prepares people to help themselves, their families and their neighbors in the event of a disaster in their community.

The academy is Nov 14-16 at the district’s training center located at 12424 76th Ave. S. (across from the Skyway Fire Station).

Applications can be picked up at the training center during normal business hours. All applications must be turned in before Nov 1.
