A Renton taxi cab driver pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular manslaughter Tuesday, after being involved in SeaTac fatality collision.
Prosecutors allege that Waleligne A. Afele jerked his cab into a Land Cruiser to make the airport exit Nov. 18.
The accident caused the Land Cruiser to flip into I-5 traffic, where it was hit broadside by a Toyota Camry, killing 43-year-old David Doerr, according to court documents.
Afele originally told police that he was hit by the Land Cruiser, but witnesses stated otherwise, according to the documents.
There was no evidence of drug or alcohol impairment.
Afele is scheduled to appear before a judge April 6.
