The Liberty Patriots boys soccer team need extra time on Tuesday, but eventually pulled out a 1-0 win against Lake Washington.

Ethan Diaz picked up the goal for the Patriots, off an assist from Leoul Hancock.

The key factor in the win appears to be defense. In total, Liberty took nine shots on goal compared to just two from Lake Washington.

Liberty Keeper Quinn Magendanz stopped both attempts to pick up the shutout.

Liberty is scheduled to play at Juanita on Friday.
