Volleyball: Lindbergh tops Hazen; Renton falls to tough Rams; Liberty moves past Juanita

Erin White’s 14-point service run in the first set highlighted a 3-1 win by the Lindbergh volleyball team over Hazen Tuesday.

The Eagles (5-4 overall, 3-1 Seamount) have won three league matches in a row and are tied for third in the Seamount.

White had five aces in that sequence and seven overall. Kaylee Magat passed 18 of the Hazen serves at libero.

Hazen (0-8, 0-6) is still searching for a win on the season.

Mount Rainier 3, Renton 0

Renton couldn’t hang with Mount Rainier as the Rams won in three sets Tuesday.

Aira Jose had 12 assists for Renton (4-3, 2-2) and Sarah Nelson had eight kills for the Indians. Renton is now in sixth place in the Seamount.

Liberty 3, Juanita 1

Liberty moved past Juanita 3-1 Tuesday.

The Patriots (5-4, 3-3) are now tied with the Rebels for third in the KingCo 3A/2A.
