Sam Farmer of the LA Times came out with a list of some of the NFL’s potential breakthrough players in 2010.
Seahawk running back Justin Forsett makes the list, and Farmer calls him “an instant Pete Carroll favorite.”
Forsett is entering his third season in the NFL and has always been labeled undersized, at 5-foot-8, 194 pounds.
He rushed 114 times for 619 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and four touchdowns last season. He also caught 41 passes for 350 yards and a touchdown.
Julius Jones, who will be 29 when the 2010 season starts, led all Seattle rushers with 177 carries and 663 yards (3.7 yards per carry) last season.
Other NFC West players on the list: Arizona’s Calais Campbell (defensive end) and San Francisco’s Dashon Goldson (safety).
